How does your garden grow?

Hello, what a beautiful day we have today!

Just wanting to share my garden with all of you, because I'm in amazement of my petite garden, 4x4 square. But boy, have I had fun with it!

The tomatoes are so abundant for two plants, the lettuce has been snipped 3 times and some seeds planted too and the lettuce keeps coming, the sugar snaps are fun and we get to have about 3 in our salads every so often, the peppers are growing and are so cute, the zucchini is thriving and I have grilled two so far, and the cucumbers are fabulous. I have had one large and it was so fresh and delicious and another one growing. That's my garden, that's all folks, BUT so great for just the two of us.

I have seen beautiful pictures of flowers and veggies from so many of your blogs. It's such fun to see everyone's world, blogland is wonderful. Love knowing you all. Thanks and have a great week ahead.

Stop Everything

You know how sometimes you just have to stop what you are doing and make something that has inspired you!! WELL, that is what happened to me just now.  Little Woollie is a wonderful crocheter and makes so many colorful, inspiring blankets........I could just eat them all up!  Visit Julie here.

Well, did you see the crocheted stamp.......I loved it and had to stop everything and try my hand at it! I don't even know what I will do with it, but, I had to gather my yarn, hook, patterns and sit myself down and create.

This is what I came up with, love it, may pin it onto my yarn bag.

Here is Julie's blog and her lovely stamps and mine on lower left

Bird x-stitch from the talented Helen Philipps  Helen's books are so full of beautiful sewing and patchwork designs.

                                                                                  Front

Back, will add a safety pin

                                                                 One more close up

Well, that's really it for now. Just wanted to share my little fun, inspiration and creation.  I hope you visit  Julie and Helen, you will not be disappointed.

Enjoy your days and thank you to my new followers and all your lovely comments.

Summer

Isn't summer wonderful!? Just loving these summer days and evenings. The light is so grand and the long days are so great for getting things done or just enjoying a lazy day. But who's days are really lazy. Did have a few on vacation in Martha's Vineyard. Lovely weather, interrupted by Hurricane Arthur. It turned out to be just a downpour of rain and winds, not too bad at all and the next day was fabulous and we were swimming in the ocean. Great waves, Jack loved it too!

Ferry going to MV, Love her name

It's an extremely large ferry, actually the largest and newest! Has WiFi, TV, Cafe, and lots of indoor and outdoor sitting, and air conditioning, even double decker car transport. We always take our car.

Oh yes Jack on the ferry! Such a good boy❤

Black Dog Sail boat, I heard parents telling their little kids it is a pirate's ship! Looks like one, they have school programs for kids on the island to learn the ropes of sailing and 5 day sleepovers.

                                                    Many gorgeous homes too

My hydrangea's are doing well, love them

Rose Beach Plums and so fragrant

Tasty Honeysuckle

And what would it be without a random lovely "Daisy"
"He loves me, he loves me not"

Jack taking himself for a walk to the beach

Day after the Hurricane, rough surf, normally no waves

Very windy, maybe that's why it's not focused :  (

Could Jack have found a larger stick/log!?

Photographer I am not!

Few Golf days

Some grilling and something in the background

More of this

Oh we had a nice break! Can't wait to go back in two weeks for two weeks and then all our vacations are over. (at least for the summer)

I read three books, a true sign of summer for me
The Husband's Secret
Orphan Train
The Rosie Project
And began The Silver Star
All ready GREAT BOOKS

Thanks so much for visiting me here in my little blogland. Thank you to all my new followers, I love seeing new friends joining me, so then I get to have new blogs to visit too! Be back soon. Sorry I missed many blogs, but I will be back on track now! Happy days to you all and hope you have some time to smile and laugh and give someone a big HUG!
