And that hat and that amaryllis: wow!

I MUST get Donna Tartt's new book, I LOVED The Secret History so so so much! Thank you for reminding of her, I am always searching for new books to read. Have you read Peter Hoeg's books, I would recommend Smilla's Sense For Snow to start with and then The Elephant Keepers' Children for immediate second :)!

Happy weekend soon, dear friend, and happy reading!

Yours,
MiaMiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17091011579531371814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1972327887582572576.post-12756069686715890952014-02-11T16:31:49.930-05:002014-02-11T16:31:49.930-05:00HI Robin, you have been so busy and the bread look...HI Robin, you have been so busy and the bread looks wonderful. I am reading The Goldfinch and I have to say about 2/3 of the way through I have lost my interest, I am trying to keep reading, I got stuck in the middle of the book which I thought went on way, tooooooo long. I hope to make it through the end, but so far I think it could have been written with about 200 less pages.
Hugs,
MeredithMereknitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04596140300034854370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1972327887582572576.post-32883244027653830842014-02-11T04:40:06.088-05:002014-02-11T04:40:06.088-05:00Your flowers are all looking so lovely Robin. And I too, make a lot of bread in the winter. Those bread machines make it so easy to whip a loaf up in no time.
I am afraid that I don't do much reading these days. Seems I would rather sew or crochet in my spare time. It is hard to decide what to do when you have several interests! I miss reading though. I read more in the summer.
Jack is going to be one happy boy!!
xo KrisKrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15578853096888320012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1972327887582572576.post-83774170124813628002014-02-10T17:36:39.904-05:002014-02-10T17:36:39.904-05:00Gosh, Robin, I don't know where to start! And I want some homemade bread so bad.. hmm.. maybe today? I made zucchini bread yesterday and it will be my morning meal with coffee for a few days. I am about to start the Goldfinch, it's on my iPad.. I just finished "The Shoemaker's Wife" and it was pretty good.. but the ending bugged me.. she should have written a few more pages. What kind of cookies will you make hb? ((hugs)), Teresa :-) Teresa Kasnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06228404538876664577noreply@blogger.com
