Hi my friends,
Thank you to everyone who has responded to my ONE Year Blog giveaway. If anyone would like to enter, there's still time. Just go to my last post, September 30th, comment and become a follower of mine and I will be drawing the winner on October 10th! Please please enter, it's a fun giveaway and I am excited to have alot in my hat to pick the winner!
Now back to my Ta-Dah!! I finished Little E's sweater. My granddaughter is now 3 years old, so of course I made a size 4T, so she will have lots of room to grow. They grow so fast as you all know.
Without further ado, here it is
The yarn is Plymouth yarn "Encore", worsted weight, 75% acrylic and 25% wool, completely washable and tumble dry. I always knit my granddaughters sweater in washable yarns to make it as easy as possible for my daughter on wash day. I think that is everyday!!
I used my favorite Yankee Knitter Designs pattern #21. If you have never worked with Yankee Knitter Designs patterns they are the best. They are very user friendly and in many cases have sizes Child 1-14 and Adult 36"-50" all in the same pattern. Isn't that great?
So I knit the Child's roll Raglan size 4. You need 3 skeins or 575 yards of your choice of yarn and color. I choose a pink tweed. It actually looks just like twine that is normally red and white only this is pink and white. Little E's favorite color right now is pink. It was purple.
Here are a few photo close ups
I will be seeing the kids this Thursday so I am super excited to give it to her. I will give a little something to Big Sister "A".
Look what else has come into our family. Best way to tell you is to show you. Now brace yourself for a big AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH, so sweet, I want one!!
MEET "BETTY"
Isn't she the cutest thing. I haven't meet her in person yet, but hopefully soon. She is my daughter's and her boyfriend's puppy. Soooooo that makes my honey and I grandparents again to our grandpuppy. Now we have 6 doggies in the family and 2 granddaughters. Do you see something a little out of wack? We are not complaining, we are going with the flow, it's the best way!
Almost forgot, Betty is a French Bulldog, 8 weeks old and weighs 4lbs
That's all for now. Many thanks for taking the time to pop in and hopefully leaving a comment. I love all your visits and comments. Have a lovely few days and I will be back soon.
