Festive Days are Here
Good Morning my lovely blogging friends! Time is going so quickly and the days are so full, 'tis the season they say! We have the white stuff in Vermont and have had it on the ground since Thanksgiving! It is so pretty, but it was a bit too early for me, now we will have winter until April, oh dear, let's not think about that now! Christmas is coming, I'm all bought, wrapped, decorated and ready for family. I do need to bake and cook, but first a trip to Arizona to visit a son and daughter-in-law who can't make it for the holidays. So off we will go, hopefully to some warmer weather and fun.
Now time for Christmas cheer in "our home"
Christmas bunting up on the Kitchen window
Advent calendar opened everyday, always a treat
New outside Holiday slate for side door, bought at a local Artisan shop
A little closer
Homemade holiday wreath for indoors
Ominous sky's and weather here in Vermont
"Our Tree" all in its glory and smelling delightful
Mini Norfolk pine tree, it has grown since last year!!!
Living room mantel, the faithful nutcrackers all in a row, descending of course
Another lovely hibiscus bloom
My bunnies all set for Santa and best of friends! Thanks to lovely Mia and Vivienne
Well, my lovelies, that's my story and I'm wishing you all a wonderful holiday season in advance! This is just in case life gets so busy I can't wish you Merry Christmas as it gets closer! I cherish all of you and am so happy I have this blog. It is an honor to have met all of you kind, sweet, creative and caring friends. I would love to meet so many of you and who knows, maybe it could happen someday. One never knows! In the meantime, enjoy the holidays and be well!

Mother Nature, confused I think......6 degrees outside, cloudy and a rainbow! ??? !

2014 January❤
Happy New Year Dear Bloggers!
Where have I been? I have been here, yes, just catching up, enjoying family, holidays and trying to just be. Everything has been so festive and so many wonderful family times! We actually spend Christmas 24th and 25th in Boston! Yes, it was certainly different but, oh, so nice. Due to the wedding in early December and everyone being together we couldn't get people together again until the 27th and weekend. ( have to share the kids with their in-laws, boyfriends parents etc)
So we had the brilliant idea to spend the two days in the city. It was so lovely, we stayed at the FOUR SEASONS HOTEL and were so indulged with all the luxuries you can imagine. We walked the city all bundled up, it was seasonally freezing. We had Christmas Eve dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant, PF Changs. We brought an artificial tree and decorated it in our room and opened a few presents. (all arranged by my husband, yes he's a sweetheart) We walked to midnight mass at the most beautiful church, "Trinity" in Boston. Walked back to the hotel and had the best sleep. Christmas morning was so stunning. We woke to looking out at The Boston Common and a fabulous breakfast in the Four Seasons dining room. The Common was calling us so we walked on Christmas morning to visit the Ducklings and even a market open on Christmas morning! The city is so exciting and a whole different way of life. Yes, I know it was different but I think we made the best of not having the kids actually on Christmas day!!! We had FUN
We then spent the rest of the day with Hb sisters and family. We always have so many laughs, delicious food and love.
Here are an assortment of photos
Four Seasons Hotel
Boston Common right out our Hotel window

Pretty cute
Make way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey, I'm sure you all know this book.
Just beautiful elevator doors, had to capture
That was our Christmas!!! Hope you enjoyed the tour and thanks for coming along with me.
This is Zakim Bridge in Boston and we are leaving to go to Christmas dinner with family!
Well, so much more to come........be back soon with my birthday 27th, little girls, New Year's and projects............

Happy Kitchen Window Buntings
Hi all,
I've been working on Christmas items to put in my Etsy Shop. I love buntings and love making them because fabric is so fun to work with. So many beautiful fabrics and Christmas fabric is so festive and happy. So I have started making buntings for all seasons, starting with my halloween/Autumn kitchen window bunting. Nothing like having a happy cheery bunting to look at while you are in the kitchen cooking, looking out the window or doing dishes.
Remember my Autumn bunting, oops didn't show you, well here it is
Nothing like seasonal kitchen window buntings!!!!
So I've been making more for the shop, here's a peek
A whole bunting of Snow Angels
3 more holiday themed window buntings or mantel whatever your pleasure!
Dots, stripes, christmas motifs and buttons on the tails
Snow Angels
Still making them, this is just a sampling. Will be in my Shop soon, spread the word, buntings for the holidays!!
I guess that's all for now my lovely friends out there. Love your comments and visiting all of you. Enjoy your days and be well,
xoRobin
