February Vacation with A&E

I have been wanting to find the time to share our fabulous vacation week with our two granddaughters, Abby and Lizzy.

We had such a great time and really enjoyed every moment with these two, ages 10 and 8.

As you can see on Sunday we visited an alpaca shop and the alpacas were a must to visit!
We also sampled Cabot cheese and chocolates all from Vermont.

On Monday we had a trip to Michael's to get all sorts of crafts for the week ahead, I didn't say no to anything, our cart was full. Wait to you see all our creations!!

We had some fun in the store as you can see!

Just some of our crafts and goodies!

Lizzy started this Easter scene and had a great time. She did it all herself and it wasn't that easy, especially when many of the plastic pieces popped out...but she keep at it.

Really cute, we used it as our centerpiece on the table while they were here.

Lizzy even used the extra pieces and make a picture  :  )

Next up we used tons of my button supply to make button flowers. I really liked this.....getting to use buttons what could be better.

Jars and bottles were used and colored wire from Michaels and another craft shop. Toadstools were also from "M" in the fairy department!

                                                          Few more different angles

                                                           This was Abby's flower bouquet

                                                           Mass production

Then we spent two days skiing, and got them both skiing and on the chair lift. WOW

                                                                        Memories

We did some sewing in Nannie's sewing room

                                                          Of course Alpaca fleece

                                                                    TA-DAAAA

Lizzy made Lemon Tarts, oh my were they good!

Abby made dinner, turkey in peppers, guacamole, beans and rice. And so well executed!

The happy Chefs.....note fancy drinks too!
                                                           We were Happy too!

There was some pillow making for dear old Ellie

                                                                           ELLIE
                                                             (dearly loved for 8 years)

Of course Jack had a good time too

We always go to the Children's museum and it's always interesting and fun

That just about sums up the week, minus a few activities like snowshoeing, movie watching and cuddles.

Thanks for visiting and reading through to this busy, active and memorable week. Love to see all of you here. THANK YOU

xoRobin and Jack (he made me include him)

Enjoying Creating

Rainy day here in Vermont, USA....... what a great opportunity to work in my sewing/craft room! So many makings in progress, WIP from along time ago, some special orders and even something for me!

First a photo my daughter sent me of Lizzie and her American Girl doll in "THE SWEATER", you know the one.....from my last post. (fudging at its best)

                                                    See my sleeping angel❤

I've been working on some special orders for my baby buntings for the shop in my area. This woman wanted two buntings for her twins, one in pinks and one in lavenders. So I came up with these. The shop owner said she would be pleased!

                                         Oops, upside down!

Added buttons to the tails this time instead of heart patches.
I love buttons, like so many of you.

Now I'm in the process of making a few Halloween/Autumn buntings......just for FUN

One for me and one for a dear friend : )

I also have had some orders for my crochet hooks, so I made a batch on Sunday, they will be in my Etsy shop very soon!

You all know what they look like

                                         Oh my, another photo sideways

As I was getting ready to glaze them, I wanted to try another top coat, so I made up a little something and then coated it with gloss. It turn out like this

See the little mushroom. I made a hole before baking it and now it's a candle holder in the forest!

                                                     Cute little toadstool

                                                   Maybe one too many photos.......sorry

Well, this is getting to be rather a long post. So I should go..........but maybe you want to see one more finished projects. This is a knitted project that is really really for me. I started it the end of last winter so it will be perfect for the coming cold weather.

I have to apologize in advance for all the selfies (photos), but I wanted to show the cowl off.

Okay now, way too much showing off. It's just been so long since I have finished things and it really feels so good. Although, I have a lifetime of projects to finish but I'm on a roll!!

Thank you for visiting, it's always so nice to see that you have popped in and I love all the comments you leave me. So does my sweet Jack!

Let's Celebrate with a Give Away

Hi followers,

It is with great pleasure that I am celebrating with all of you my happiness of having reached 100+ followers. It feels like a milestone and feels so good and rewarding. This all started off as a challenge for myself. I wanted to document my daily activities, thoughts, crafts, yarn, fabric and button inspirations and ta-dahhhh moments. It has been so much fun and I have met so many lovely people.  I consider this priceless. There are so many talented people out in blog land who are all so kind and thoughtful. What a wonderful place to share our thoughts and creations. I have learned so much from all of you and have enjoyed all of your blogs and comments.

So here's my give-away. I have been making "Tea Towel Aprons". I'm sure there are probably aprons like these out there, but these are my own designs and have my own personal touch of details.

So what I would like you to do is just leave a comment. Tell me your favorite color for an apron and become a follower if you are not already. That's it!!! I will send anywhere. I will pick the winner on Friday the 15th of March.

Here's a few of my creations

I use lots of buttons, stamps and fun fabrics

                                     Four more of my favorites

Love this fabric and in this Photo a WIP

Well Ladies, thanks so much for popping in. Please join the chance to win an Apron. I will love to send one off, to the hand picked(no peeking) winner on March 15th.

Take care and be well, xoRobin❤
