❅December First❄

How exciting it is that the Holiday season has arrived. I just started to decorate and get in the lovely festive spirit. It all happened when I put out my new Advent calendar and was able to open up the 1st little window. Each year I buy chocolate Advent calendars for the kids and now I just buy them for my granddaughters. They have come to love this tradition and Nannie loves to buy them this treat! When I buy an Advent calendar for myself, I sometimes buy a cute one, sometimes a german style, but this year I was drawn to a religious Advent calendar. Take a look, it is jut so beautiful and the true spirit of this blessed time.

Window "1"   (top left)   The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.   Isaiah 9:1

Yes, my candles are up and glowing in each window of my house.

Here are a few more Christmas Decorations that are up, but so much more to come. I do tend to put candles in the windows and wreaths on the doors, so from the outside I look festive. (and on top of things)

Inside Wreath, just because I love the smell so much.....it's intoxicating!

Christmas Welcome with "glints"

Christmas Star with "glints"

Side entrance looking so Welcoming......you are all invited to stop in for tea or bubbles!

Snowshoes adorn the house, but we have other snowshoes for winter walks with Jack.

Our weather here in Vermont has really been very mild, other then our snowfall at Halloween and our 8" snow fall two weeks ago. All the snow is gone! I do hope we get some snow for Christmas, it is so lovely to have family, fireplace roaring, food, drink and love just to set the day's festivities.

I want to share with you my lovely purchase from "Our One an only Mia", yes you can visit her here miashandmade.blogspot.com

Look at my festive coasters and surprise birdie. Oh, how I love them! Thank you Mia!

Well, I need to getting going, thanks so much for visiting and I will be back soon. I wish everyone of my old and new followers a blessed holiday season. I hope we can all spread our love to others during this season. Some are not as fortunate as some of us and it always feels wonderful to bring a smile and hope to others. I hope I can do that for someone each day of this season.

many thanks, xoRobin❤

  5. Dear Robin.. that's how I decorate.. slow but sure until it's all done. We have the tree up and I'm slowly putting the ornaments on between everything else. I wish I was close enough to drop over for a visit.
