I know it has been so long since my last post.......it has been a wild ride of weddings, summer days and plans for next August 22nd daughter's wedding. (not to mention reno on MV house)
Amy and Andrew's wedding was absolutely beautiful and lovely in every way. We all had the best time and the weather was picture perfect. The best way to tell you about it is with a few pictures.
ENJOY!
I love this happy photo........married and happy and ready to party
Abby and Lizzy made the sweetest flower girls~see "ELLIE" the elephant for support!
Finally me in my dress~no formal photos yet~it was very comfortable
Gotta love LOVE
Goody bags in guest's rooms
Event tent being set up~love the top flags
Wedding cake from text~sorry~ really have to get the professional photos
I will have more better photos but this is a start~Let me show you the quilt/wall hanging I made for the newlyweds~they loved it
This was so much fun to make for A&A
Each door has a different motif~fussy fun work
From ME
I also made this sign for the reception~galvanized bucket with flip flops
We ordered 200 mini succulents and baby ball jars for the take home gift at everyone's seat
After making 150 jars, I really never wanted to see another succulent~but they were a hit~and still alive!!
Well, my friends this has taken a while to write, I must get going but I have missed blogging and have so much more to share. Next Time, more on summer, Leslie's upcoming wedding and so much more.
Few questions:
Does everyone have to enter one photo at a time when writing a post or am I doing something wrong?!
Can someone follow me who isn't yet, I have been stuck on 140 forever, I don't even know if it works!
Thank you for any responses xoxo
Thank you all for visiting and I hope you all have "DAISY DAYS"
xoRobin
What a beautiful bride and groom and how amazing do you look in your gorgeous dress!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad the wedding went to plan and how exciting having another one before the end of the summer!
I love the dancing shoes, a must for the party those high heels are not made for dancing in! ;)
What a beautiful quilt too, a perfect momento.

Great to see your photos dear Robin, what a beautiful day and you all look wonderful. Such perfect weather too and those little jars were perfect. And now another wedding to plan for ..how exciting. The quilt you made is exquisite, what an heirloom for your daughter and SIL. Re photos....you can upload them as a batch and then hit add selected if they have a blue ring around them (if not click on each one to bring the blue border up)...they will all load together although sometimes the order gets a bit muddled! Re the followers button I can't add myself as I am already one but I am pretty sure they work...I have been stuck at 229 for a while and I'm interested to see when it hits 230! Let's hope you get a new one soon. This blogging world is certainly such a fun and kind world to be a part of. Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteLOL I have just seen that you now have 141...well done!! ;0) x
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Andrew and Amy!! I hope that they have a wonderful and long marriage! Re photos, no I don't have to put them in one at a time, but sometimes blogger can be temperamental, it will sort it self out I expect, it usually does. Re followers, I follow on bloglovin, so you might want to check your numbers there to see what they are like too! xx
ReplyDeleteWow, Robin.. you look gorgeous in your dress and A&A are gorgeous! I love the live gifts you made.. what a neat present. I still have the plant my daughter used at her wedding. I upload all my photos at once using the blogger page. I put them in one file on my desktop and then highlight them all and hit upload. We made it to Boise tonight and home late tomorrow! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the wonderful couple and how beautiful you look in your dress. You certainly enhanced the wedding with such great makes, I love the dancing shoes sign, so thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely wedding details. I know you would have spent many hours organising. I had a friend who was just like you - I know that attention to detail well! Roll on 22 August!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful couple, congratulations to them! So glad the wedding was perfect and everything went as planned! You look gorgeous in your dress, very elegant......and the little flower girls are such sweeties. Your quilt is amazing, what a fantastic heirloom to treasure.......such a lovely gift for the happy couple.
