Now for the best part. Had visitors this weekend, here's a peek
How 'bout another
Love the button shoes, too cute!
We played and ate and watched movies and read stories and most exciting we went to a Maple Sugar Farm and watched how they make Maple syrup. The little ones really enjoyed it. We sampled different grades of syrup and cheeses that they also make. The little girls had maple lollipops and we took a hike to see the sap trees. It was so much fun. Our oldest granddaughter(5) played explorer as we hiked and observed the trees, tubes and followed the markers. Follow my pictures for a tour and see what you may learn. I actually learned a lot!!! Great to learn new things....have to keep up with the younger generation.
First let's see playtime
Now here is a tour of the Sunday Maple Sugar Day
The first few pics are of the maple sugar shack. Then the round plaque is an old maple sugarer's
song, 3rd row-tub of sap, horses on farm, 4th row-hiking trail, see the tubes coming from the trees with sap in them, 5th row-signs, 6th row-information and a sweet explorer, 7th row- info and Max the greeter!
Such a great time and it was a Sunny day! Cold but Sunny!!
Still making Birdies!

What a lovely post Robin :o) Love all the little shoes and boots lined up. I wish my girls were still wearing shoes like that (my 12year old has bigger feet than me and is taller)! what an interesting day you had sounds so much fun.
ReplyDeleteLoving the Birdies!!!
Love Tickety-boo xxxx
I loved reading this post, Robin! How lovely to have the little girls to stay - and the pics of the little shoes are so sweet. Your photo collages are aMaZiNg - how DO you do them, I wish I knew as I am still struggling with photoshop!! The pictures of the children are so charming, and the maple syrup visit was fascinating - only yesterday I was trying to explain about maple syrup and where it comes from to Charlie after we read something in a story - now I can explain a bit better! And the moon...such a strange sight at the moment in an unusual part of the sky when I look out of the windows at night..love your picture. Have a happy week!

Hi Robin, how lovely to have little visitors..you obviously had a wonderful time. My son loves maple syrup..how interesting to see how it is made....great post. I too got some photos of the wonderful super moon, it was a clear night here...looked great. Strange to think of your all those thousands of miles away photographing him too!
ReplyDeleteSpring is here..sending some sunshine to melt away your snow.
Take care,

Thank you so much lovely ladies! I so enjoyed reading your comments and enjoyment of my post. So happy I didn't bore you. Kids are so smart now a days and they just absorb information and remember it too!!! It is so strange to imagine that we are all seeing the same moon soooooooo far away. I love thinking about how amazing this world is!! xoRobin❤
ReplyDeleteHi Robin,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post - starting with wee shoes and ending to that pretty, big moon! And I loved the birdie with attitude too :) Your photos really capture the fun that goes on around your house, thank you so much for sharing!
Have a great week!
Yours,
Mia
Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely thought that we all see the same moon even though we're all scattered across the globe. Sadly though on Sunday last when it was at it's best we had a cloudy sky and only got glimpses of it when it appeared from behind a cloud!
Love thoses little boots. :)
