On My Needles!

Hi Lovely Ladies,

How are you all doing this week so far? I'm enjoying getting back into my routine and enjoying the Spring. Although it has been drizzly and not sunny, it is still warm and I will gladly take that, with a smile!

Here are some pictures from my yard, all floral, green and smelling beautiful.

YES indeed, my dandelions are doing GREAT!!

Hope you enjoyed that little peek of what's coming in, in my yard. Why did I doubt that Spring would come, I will have to remember this next year. It will come, It will come! Nature really is amazing and we are so lucky to be able to enjoy the cycles of life!

Now what are on my needles.
A darling baby sweater for a baby shower I am going to next thursday. I will have this done real soon, just have the body left.

Oh, I think I forgot to say, IT'S A GIRL! Yarn is really SOFT.

Next on my needles are the socks. Not as far along, but after the sweater they will be first priority.

I'm using worsted weight for my first so they will knit up more quickly.

Well, so enjoyed sharing my pretty things with all my blogging friends. Hope you are enjoying your surroundings and what you are up to. Thanks for visiting. Take care and I will see you all again soon.

  1. Dear Robin, oh you have some pretty flowers in your garden.. I showed them to hubby too and then the dandelion and we both got a great giggle out of that. Wonderful knitting you're doing!!
    ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  2. Hi Robin, what lovely flowers especially those dark purple irises! Isn't it amazing how well dandelions do, no matter what the weather is like!!!

Have a wonderful day and enjoy your spring!

P.S. I have had great difficulties commenting on blogger-blogs lately :( so I hope this one gets to you...

  4. Oh what lovely spring flowers there Robin.. and a weed is only a plant growing in the wrong place! Your knitting looks so soft...more babies to knit for...how exciting.
It's still so sunny and warm here...2 months now! Have a sunny week and enjoy your garden,

  5. Yay....At last I can leave you a comment, lovely knitting Robin, it's so nice to knit for babies, the yarns are always so soft and snuggly, the socks are looking good too, and your flower pics are beautiful, even the dandelions, lol.

Mother Nature is amazing and never lets us down.

  6. Robin,
The baby sweater is just adorable. What a lucky little girl she will be to get to wear this. I love the flowers, so beautiful.
Hope you are having a wonderful day,

  7. Hi Robin!

Your flowers and plants look wonderful, and I love hostas so much!
The baby sweater is adorable, and I am working on a pair of socks right now. Almost finished with the first one. I am at the point where it seems like I have been knitting forever and the sock is NOT getting any longer :)

  8. Hi Robin I loved seeing your beautiful flower pix, all so pretty and such lovely colours. Yes, it's a good year for dandelions here too! The baby jacket looks adorable, so sweet and soft. I like the sock yarn too, a lovely shade. Enjoy your warmer temperatures and happy crafty times. Helen x

  9. I love the dandelion seed heads, but not when they are blown all over my garden! Yours must be looking wonderful right now with all those prtty plants. We've had days and days of sunshine here, but now it's turned colder and we're having some much needed(for the garden)rain. :0)

  10. What gorgeous pictures from your garden and the lovely little sweater that you knitted! (Somebody's going to be very lucky to receive such a beautiful gift!) I'm so envious of your lilies of the valley, by the way... They don't like it here in southern California, though the dandelions do! Thanks for your kind visit to my blog today. I'm glad you stopped by and enjoyed my wildflower snapshots! :o)
