Come with me for my walk around the LOOP in my neighborhood. We have had 2 delightful days with sun and some warmth. A hint of Spring, some melting, some birds, and blue skies! Jack and I had a wonderful walk, the LOOP is 2+ miles and it's a nice workout if you keep the pace up. So that's what I try to do, except when I have to stop to take pictures, naturally!
We had company along the way, 2 nice dog from I don't know where. Never ran into an owner and anyone missing two dogs, so they traveled with us, to Jack's delight, and disappeared 3/4's of the way around. See if you can spot JACK in the photos!
Can you pick out my Jack-Jack? On the left! Amazing how they are all the same color.
Both are not Jack!
Yes, we passed the sheep and the barn as we walked. It is actually my favorite part of my walks. I always count the sheep and make sure there are 16 sheep. I talk to them and say hi and see if they have food or look cold. Yes, I really love them and consider myself very lucky to have them on my LOOP! What is the LOOP, just a 2+ mile around my house.
Aren't they really good looking?!
Next scenes from the countryside and rolling hills.
Sheep Barn
Bridge where Jack Swims, but not today
Stream going under bridge
OLD pine tree
Next few pictures of our mud season coming and the only shoes to wear during this long season
My Bogs
Lots and Lots of mud, which means dirty dog, dirty feet and dirty house!!
Hope you enjoyed our walk around the LOOP. I enjoyed your company and will be back real soon with new projects to share.
I leave you with this wonderful Quote from the movie and book, "THE HELP". I just love it!
Thanks for stopping by and know your are appreciated and important to me.

Dear Robin,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have a little springly-feel around your "loop" already, the light looks so pretty! And the mud, I love mud when it's there instead of snow&ice, yippee! We've had three days of snowing, not SO nice, but this morning sun shines again so hooray for March!
Kisses to that sweet Jack-boy and a wonderful new week dear friend!
Yours,
Mia
Hi Robin! What a wonderful walk! I'm happy to see your dog! I can smell the spring from your photos - it looks so same in Finland.

Thanks for taking us with you on your walk Robin!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely for Jack to have two friends to play with as well. :)
I think those sheep are happy to have the sun shining on their faces!
Have a lovely week,
Vivienne x
I really enjoyed the loop Robin and I took it briskly with you, just as all walking should be done! How funny to have 2 extra dogs in tow, good job they didn't come home with you or it would be even muddier for you. Spring really is springing...I had 17c in my garden this afternoon...yipee! Have a great week,
ReplyDeleteJane x
Dear Robin, thank you that you take a walk with us to these lovely places. Seems that Jack has had a lot of fun with the two others. Amazing that they have nearly the same colour. Nicolexxx
ReplyDeleteThe Loop is a wonderful walk, I would enjoy it too! Such a pretty rural place, and I do love sheep too! Dogs love company don't they, even to the extent of joining in with someone else's walk, so funny!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week, Robin.

Still looks pretty snowy out your way, Robin, we read about the mud season when we stayed at Rabbit Hill inn but didnt realise it went on for a few weeks.A pleasant walk for you though and spring is on the way!
ReplyDeleteOh boy.. if I had such a pretty loop I'd go walking too. We have a pretty busy country road in front of our house and it's not set up for walking. You live in a beautiful place!! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteso different form our neighborhood here in central Pa...warm and sunny 79 degrees today..trees budding and kids playing basketball and never even a single stray dog!!
ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower..pls follow back if you can.
Have a happy evening!
So jealous of your lovely Loop! I would so love to be able to have something like that (like I used to). your gumboots (as we call them here) are so cute!
ReplyDeleteWow - you live in amazing countryside. Thanks for the tour!
