We had a wonderful weekend, went to a wedding, played a little golf and saw some of our kids!
But mother nature sure did play a part. We drove to the wedding on Saturday and checked into our hotel, we were getting all dolled up for the wedding. We had the TV on as we were getting ready and the US Open was interrupted due to a Tornado warning in our area.......Oh no the wedding, outside ceremony.....I was getting so upset for the bride and my daughter who was also in it. Well, after 15 minutes the warning was dropped but the storm still came. We had to get in the car and drive in torrential rain to the Country Club. So the ceremony was relocated to the reception area, but many people were so upset and things did get a bit delayed. But there was a silver lining.....just as it was about to start there was a both RAINBOW!!! It was beautiful and magical!

Yes, they had a photo booth....... so fun.....and as you can see we did have fun!!!!!
Well, Autumn is here even though we are still having warmish weather, but look what I am finding on my daily walks.
Well, folks that all for now. I have started knitting again. I will share next time. I'll be back. Thanks so much for visiting me here. Love your visits and comments. Thank you so much.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for all you concern and well wishes for my back. I am worlds better and all your suggestions really helped. I started using ice, got up and started moving and slowly I was getting more mobile and with less discomfort. I am thankful for all your comments and kindness.

Good to hear your back is on the mend! Beautiful wedding even though it didn't go according to plan, but that's life! Lovely photos of sunsets and your family. Enjoy your week. Chris
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear that everything worked out so well in the finish, Robin, but stressful at the time no doubt. I enjoyed your pics, thank you, and love all your nature finds. So sorry your back has been giving you trouble but glad to hear it's on the mend now (I've been having down time so very little blogging of late!)
ReplyDeleteDid you see what I made with your lovely tea towel - it's on my last post? Thanks so much once again and I send you blessings each time I look at it. Joyxo
What a shame about the wedding. But that double rainbow is something else! Wow!

Goodness.. that was scary thinking the storm would cancel things, than heavens they had a nice room inside for the wedding. Your daughter is gorgeous.. and so are you! I loved the fun photo booth images. I'm really glad to hear that your back is on the mend. Keep up the good work! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful wedding despite the weather and a stunning rainbow.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're feeling so much better Robin!
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing with weddings, you plan everything but the weather , at least it all worked out in the end and you all had a good time.

The rainbow picture is just beautiful. Love a double rainbow.
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous wedding even if it had to be inside, rain on your wedding day is a great sign, and a rainbow, well that has to be a fantastic sign.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and keep taking care of your back,
Meredith
