First and foremost ladies, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your heartfelt comments on my last post. You have no idea how much your kind words and suggestions helped to empower me. It definitely helped to revive me and realize I am doing the best I can at the present. What it also taught me was that I have a great support system with all of you. Thanks, I hope I can do the same for someone too someday.
Now I have a little mystery story via photos to share with all of you. I have been capturing these pictures for at least a month and waiting and waiting for the perfect picture to end the story. Do I have you wondering????? I hope so!
Well, it started with this and I was curious.
I was all set to take my basket down and put my spring flowers in! Then I looked more closely
Oh my, I think a nest is starting.................
Nothing happened for days............I checked every few days.
Then I turned around one day
What did I see but this mess on the breezeway floor.............?
So I looked UP!
How did this happen and when!
So well constructed and completely under my nose. Very sneaky!
So what kind of bird did this and how will I get in and out of my side door without disturbing this? "Carefully" and "Quietly"
First peek through the glass window.
Up close and personal........but still don't know what kind of bird.
A lot of sitting was happening
She flew away and it was a sweet momma Robin. So when will she have the babies? She has been sitting for what seems like weeks.
Then I saw something
She's feeding, but where are they!
Do you see them?
They are so hungry......all the time
And look they are growing......fast!
More please!
Thanks mom, now we're happy and sleepy.
See the feathers starting?
More feeding
More contentment
A Very Happy and Proud Mommy!
Hope you enjoyed this happy ending story! It's been such fun watching. I will definitely keep you up to date if I could ever be so lucky to see them leave the nest!
Thanks for popping in and Thank you in advance for your comments. I love them all and reading them with much happiness.

I have been trying to search your birdie out. Could it be this one? http://identify.whatbird.com/obj/564/overview/Orchard_Oriole.aspx very similar but yours has a yellow beak. If so these are in decline. x
ReplyDeletehow gorgeous! And you got so close to them!!! Smart to make it nice and ihgh rather than in your basket!

I love this post, my sister Cludia just had 2 weeks of photos of a nest and they were amazing. Keep posting as we want to see these babies grow up. Glad you are feeling better,

How appropriate that a Robin would build a Robin's nest in "MyNestofYarnandRobins"! Great photos shoot of them.. and I just cracked up after they ate and took their nap. Awwwwwww....cute!!
